WEEK #36 SEPTEMBER 1st-7th

Dear Customers,

While several college teams began their football schedules on August 23rd, (a.k.a. Week #0), the majority of the nation’s squads began their seasons this past weekend on the 30th of August.  This is the time of the new season where powerhouse programs pad their schedule with lesser teams who are thrilled to get a huge payday just for making the trip!  Occasionally, however, there are a couple stellar matchups thrown into the mix by schedule makers.

The NFL, nevertheless, will begin the bulk of their play this week – commencing with one game on Thursday, another on Friday and a full schedule Sunday featuring 13 games, followed by a Monday night game!  The advent of football season each fall, whether it be high school, college or professional, brings with it a certain anticipation for football fans of all ages.

Most people in our area will be tuning in to either a Pitt or a Penn State game and on Sunday a Bills or Steelers game.  You can always tell which teams are doing better at any particular time by the sweatshirts, tee-shirts, hats or jackets that are most prevalent among the local fan base!

Whomever you choose to watch, the game will be exceedingly more enjoyable with refreshments.  And that’s where we absolutely shine!  Sure, there are plenty of places that sell snacks, soft drinks, and beer.  There are even more now than just a few years ago.  But you will be hard pressed to duplicate the assortment of delicious deli foods that we provide.

Chicken wings (either breaded or plain) are available in a multitude of flavors and tastes.  Our “have-it-the-way-you-like-it” sub bar is second to none.  I always get a kick of the sub shops advertising on television when they announce their hot sale prices – which are substantially more than our everyday low prices!  The same goes for our fresh-dough hot and ready-when-you-are assortment of pizzas.  Just one phone call, does it all – 814-887-9371!

And if that weren’t enough, we’re open 95 hours a week with ample handicap accessible parking.  You can’t find an easier nor better alternative when it comes to the delicious game watching fare.  Stop in or give us a call!
