Dear Customers,
May is a busy month for most people. Particularly for those families with school-age children. As soon as Mother’s Day is over, there are finals, the Prom, graduations, graduation parties and the Memorial Day holiday looming at the end of the month. And May is the gateway to summer which means there are a lot of things to wrap up before good weather shows itself on a regular basis.
Things have a way of sneaking up on you, even if you think you’re prepared ahead of time. Add into the mix, softball, baseball and track practices every night of the week which doesn’t feature a game or meet. It’s often very difficult to gather the family together more than once or twice a week for a family meal.
Making sure your family eats well is a prime concern for parents. The “catch-as-catch-can” approach to putting food on the table doesn’t work – at least not for very long. I know, there are times when my wife and I just can’t think of anything to cook for supper. Either we’ve had it too often lately or it’s too much work, or it’ll involve another trip to the supermarket. She doesn’t mind hopping into the car and running back to the store, even if she’s been there for 8 hours already. I on the other hand, believe that when I leave for the day – I’m gone for the day! That attitude leads to a lot of rummaging through the cupboards and/or freezer looking for something edible.
There is, however, a sure-fire way of getting something to eat that’s both delicious and wholesome, not to mention hot! Pick up the phone and call Costa’s Deli at 814-887-9371 for a direct hot line for the answer to your dilemma. Fresh dough pizzas, delicious made-to-order sub sandwiches, crispy fried chicken wings and up to a dozen different entrees and side dishes in our hot case every day provide you with plenty of alternatives.
Perhaps the best reason for calling our deli is that everyone in the family can have their personal favorite! That’s not always the case if you decide to cook at home and the parents are in the mood for, let’s say, liver and onions! Finding an entrée that appeals to everyone is often harder than you can imagine!
