With January 2024 in the books as of this week, we can begin looking forward to February. There are but a few important events to distinguish the 2nd month, however. The Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day and the Daytona 500 are the main events on the schedule for February.
You’ll notice amongst the “notables”, I intentionally omitted mentioning that semi-famous rodent from down state. When a weather forecaster is successful only 39% of the time, he ought to be looking for a new job – or in somebody’s stew pot! The only occupation where you can be considered a winner, get a salary bump, and lose more often is pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates!
Since I’ve warned you in advance, you have time to begin planning your Super Bowl snack array! What’s it gonna be-pizza, wings, subs, party platters, fried chicken or just a huge tray of cold cuts with freshly baked rolls? You also can count on candy and flowers being available here for your last-minute Valentine panic buying. Just because it slipped your mind, is no reason to spend the night in the doghouse. We’ve got you covered!
Our huge selection of beers and wines will go well toward complimenting any snack choices you may settle on. And, if your gathering tends a little more towards high class, you have only to call our Meat Department and order up a platter of roast beef au jus with some delicious Kaiser or Weck rolls from the Bakery!
It may be cold and snowy outside with a little ice thrown in for good measure, but the days are getting noticeably longer since December 21st. You might as well enjoy yourself with some great snacks while you’re waiting for Winter to loosen it’s grip!
