The maple leaves are back! After departing amidst gale-force winds back last fall, my absolute favorite sign of spring makes its return after six long months! The varied shades of green adorning our forests make for one of the most beautiful and restful visions of this time of year.
And soon, our hills will be echoing with the sounds of high school bands as they march along Main Streets all over the country to pay homage to our fallen heroes. Not far on the heels of Memorial Day come commencement exercises, graduation ceremonies and an abundance of parties to celebrate this important milestone in the lives of our young men and women. All of this begins over the next two weeks, with those same parties often extending into June and even July!
